Clay marbles were made in Germany and  the  United  States in the 1800's through the 1900's. they are most often natural clay color, though some were glazed in blues, reds, and other colors.

They are the most abundant antique marbles. They are still being unearthed in gardens and construction sites as well as discovered in attics, homes around the globe.
