Netsuki are a toggle that was attached to a sagemono and worn on the obi sash of a kimono. These delicately carves objects were praised works of art. They were carved from Ivory or wood. Prized treasures they are collected, worn, and displayed all over the world. The Horse is a favorite among collectors. This one has a gentle feeling, its face, mane and hooves carefully carved.
